This lovely soap is handcrafted by artisans from the Palam Rural Centre (People’s Association for Leather and Allied Manufacturing) in the Tamil Nadu region of Southeastern India. The center employs artisans from the marginalized Harijan community. Profits from their crafts have enabled artisans to own their homes and build a school for their children.
